Exit Through the Gift Shop, un documentaire sur Banksy… la legende !

Exit Through the Gift Shop is a new film debuting at the Sundance Film Festival
that focuses on the mysterious British graffiti, conceptual and street artist Banksy.
Los Angeles–based filmmaker Terry Guetta set out to record this secretive world in all its thrilling detail. For more than eight years, he traveled with the pack, roaming the streets of America and Europe, the stealthy witness of the world’s most infamous vandals. But after meeting the British stencil artist known only as “Banksy,” things took a bizarre turn.
Details are sketchy, of course, but rumor has it that Banksy directed the film. Sundance runs from January 21-31 in Park City, Utah. The film’s first showing is on Sunday the 24th.

J’ai l’honneur de vous annoncer, qu’après avoir été un peu négligé par Urbania l’été passé sur cette shot de Francis Théberge de Design is not dead. ( Mon crédit de retouche et de Direction Artistique n’était pas paru dans l’édition d’Urbania Special Design pour cette photo) nous pouvons enfin célébrer, car la publication de Novembre de PDN (photo distric news à New York) nous décerne une mention Merit. Pour sa part mon partenaire créatif dans cette aventure, photographe et bon ami Simon Duhamel ce mérite même le premier prix pour ses photos magnifiques pour Kaaz.
Bref, une bonne tape dans le dos

Un jouet…version 2010

Lancé au CES 2010, ce petit hélicoptère-jouet est complètement révolutionnaire. Une caméra est même intégrée au produit. On peut contrôler ce petit bijou à partir d’une app “remote” iPhone ou iTouch…parfait pour espionner ses voisins ou pour simuler des attaques tout droit sorties du futur. On a peut-être pas encore nos voitures volantes annoncer par la fameuse trilogie Retour vers le Futur, mais nos jouets sont rendus là par exemple! À quand les pizzas miniatures qui grossissent à vue d’oeil dans le four???? Je met un 10 sur le CES 2013…

Incroyable balance entre modern et Classique… la classe quoi !
Concept cosmetic design for Mac Motorcycles, a start-up motorcycle company
in the UK with a nod to classic cafe bikes.
We explored a variety of visual approaches and production techniques.
The intention was to create something new in a category that is overwhelmingly
garish with logos and neon graphics that also complemented the amazing
industrial design by Xenophya.
While keeping the integrity of the classic look, we created eight prototype
designs that employ such production techniques as laser etching, anodized
finishes, and screen-printed graphics applied to the gas tanks. This, along with
simpler color systems, helps bring a more subtle, conceptual approach to
the identity.
This project has received incredible recognition not just in the design
community, but, more importantly, in the motorcycle-enthusiast community
— nearly 100 mentions and spreading including articles and mentions in Fast
Company, Bike EXIF, Asphalt and Rubber, MBF Motorcycle forums, Cyril Huze
Blog, and Bikes in the Fast Lane. Too many to list, we would like to thank
everyone for the support, kind words, and linkage.
